Biography
Dr. Julie Bell is a board-certified pathologist with specialized expertise in hematopathology, surgical pathology, and laboratory medicine. Throughout her career, she has served in both clinical and leadership roles, providing diagnostic pathology services while directing laboratory operations and supporting quality improvement initiatives across hospital systems.
Dr. Bell earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Emory University Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. She subsequently completed fellowship training in Surgical Pathology and Hematopathology at Emory University, developing advanced expertise in the diagnosis of hematologic disorders and complex disease processes.
Her professional experience includes serving as Department Chairman and Laboratory Medical Director for multiple Florida hospitals, including Cleveland Clinic Indian River Hospital and Wuesthoff/Steward Regional Medical Centers. In addition to her clinical leadership, Dr. Bell has authored peer-reviewed publications and presented research in the fields of breast pathology, urologic pathology, and diagnostic pathology. Her career reflects a longstanding commitment to diagnostic quality, physician collaboration, and patient-centered care.
