Biography
Daliya Manav is an ASCP-certified Pathologists' Assistant with more than twenty years of experience in surgical pathology and laboratory operations. Throughout her career, she has provided comprehensive support in the gross examination and processing of a wide range of surgical pathology specimens, contributing to accurate and timely diagnoses that support patient care.
Daliya earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Pathology from St. John's University in New York and has maintained active certification through the American Society for Clinical Pathology. Her professional experience includes serving as a Pathologists' Assistant with AmeriPath/Quest Diagnostics in Fort Myers, Florida, before joining Brevard Pathology Services in 2017.
Throughout her career, Daliya has developed extensive expertise in the gross examination and documentation of simple and complex surgical specimens, frozen section procedures, fine needle aspiration support, tissue procurement, specimen photography, quality assurance activities, and laboratory compliance initiatives. She has also played an active role in training Pathologists' Assistants, medical students, and laboratory personnel while supporting quality improvement programs and CAP accreditation requirements. Known for her attention to detail, technical expertise, and collaborative approach, Daliya remains dedicated to supporting high-quality pathology services and exceptional patient care.
