Biography
Sarah Goldberg is an ASCP-certified Pathologists' Assistant with extensive experience in surgical pathology, frozen section consultation, tissue procurement, and laboratory medicine. She brings a strong background in both pathology and clinical laboratory sciences, providing valuable support to pathologists and healthcare teams in the diagnosis and management of disease.
Sarah earned a Master of Health Science degree in Pathologists' Assistant Studies from West Virginia University and previously completed training in Medical Technology through Carolinas College of Health Sciences. Prior to entering the field of pathology, she worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist in microbiology, providing a strong foundation in laboratory diagnostics and patient care.
Before joining NextGen Pathology, Sarah spent more than a decade with Central Florida Pathology Associates, where she worked in high-volume hospital environments and developed expertise in the gross examination of complex surgical specimens, frozen sections, autopsy pathology, specimen photography, muscle biopsies, and tissue procurement for specialized studies. Since joining NextGen Pathology, she has continued to support comprehensive pathology services through her commitment to accuracy, efficiency, and collaboration. Sarah is recognized for her technical expertise, adaptability, and dedication to delivering the highest standards of pathology support and patient care.
