Biography
Steven Vallery, MD, is a board-certified Anatomic and Clinical Pathologist with more than 25 years of experience in diagnostic pathology, laboratory medicine, and healthcare leadership. Throughout his career, he has focused on advancing laboratory services, integrating innovative technologies, and delivering high-quality patient care across complex healthcare systems.
Dr. Vallery earned a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Indiana University Bloomington, graduating with Dean's List Academic Honors. He received his medical degree from Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C., where he also completed a Summer Research Fellowship within the Department of Neurology.
His postgraduate training began with a General Surgery Internship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), followed by residency training in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology at Indiana University School of Medicine. During residency, he served as Chief Resident and later completed a fellowship in Cytopathology at Indiana University.
Dr. Vallery brings extensive experience in diagnostic pathology, laboratory operations, physician collaboration, and healthcare leadership, supporting hospitals, physicians, and patients through accurate and timely diagnostic services.
